On December 12, 2024, the second Hithium Eco-Day was successfully held in Beijing, China, with the theme of “The Freedom of Energy, The Revolution of Life”. At the event, Hithium showcased three innovative products as world premieres: the ∞Power 6.25MWh 2h/4h full-scenario high-capacity battery energy storage system (BESS), the world’s first sodium-ion battery specialized for industrial-scale energy storage ∞Cell N162Ah, and the HeroES installation-free home microgrid system.
∞ Power 6.25 MWh 2h/4h: 4h high-capacity BESS with full scenarios, ushering in the era of customization with full scenarios
Hithium introduced the ∞Pack+ full-scenario high-capacity energy storage platform, which has five key advantages: high capacity, standardization, platformization, scenario-based, and maintainability. Based on this platform, Hithium launched the ∞Power 6.25 MWh 2h/4h BESS. In the 2-hour BESS scenario, the battery cell displays 587 Ah, while in the 4-hour BESS scenario it displays 1175 Ah. In addition, both scenarios would work with Hithium’s BESS, which is designed for desert applications.
Hithium is redefining traditional energy storage by decoupling system components including power, thermal management, control, fire safety and generation, moving integration from tight coupling to loose coupling. This innovative approach will open new possibilities for energy storage systems and foster the creation of a new industrial ecosystem. Global delivery of the ∞Power 6.25 MWh 2h/4h BESS will begin in Q2 2025.
The first sodium-ion battery specialized for industrial-scale energy storage, the ∞Cell N162Ah, ushers in the era of sodium-ion batteries
Hithium believes that the sodium-ion battery industry has yet to identify large-scale scenarios and unveiled the ∞Cell N162Ah, the world’s first specialized sodium-ion battery for industrial-scale energy storage. This product focuses on a polyanionic cathode combined with a hard carbon anode, incorporating advanced materials such as high-conductivity homogeneous coatings, a hard carbon anode, and a low-binding electrolyte formula. It achieves a cycle life of over 20,000 cycles and offers superior performance in a wide temperature range, with high rate capability, high round-trip efficiency, superior safety, and a 70% state of health. The ∞Cell N162Ah is now undergoing global sample distribution, with mass production (multiple GWh) scheduled for Q4 2025.
The HeroES installation-free home microgrid system delivers the freedom of smart, connected home energy.
Hithium has launched HeroES, its first zero-installation home microgrid system. Comprising the intelligent storage module (Storage series) and the intelligent control module (SynergyBox), HeroES is designed for home energy storage scenarios, with doorless accessibility and intelligentization and modularization functions. The initial installation takes only 30 minutes, 10 times less than traditional systems, while reducing the installation cost by one third.
In addition, HeroES is equipped with Hithium’s original intelligent algorithm, which can realize self-evolution in energy management and improve home energy efficiency by 10%. In addition, HeroES has a strong home microgrid capability. Different specifications of intelligent storage modules can be wirelessly and scalably combined to achieve a “plug-and-play” system, reopening and defining a new home energy storage scenario that will make smart and interconnected home microgrids available to billions of families. Global delivery of HeroES is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2025.
